Level 1
Meeting Point: Familieheisen and Favn
Previous Experience: It's your first time skiing, you have no previous experience.
Focus: Get to know your skis, keep your balance, slide, brake and master your first turn.
Goal for the week: Master braking and taking our first turn. For some, taking the button lift is a reasonable goal.
Remember! Small alpinists do not have much muscle mass and tire quickly. Breaks combined with a lot of play are important to find the joy of skiing!
Level 2
Meeting Point: Familieheisen and Favn
Previous Experience: You can brake, have started turning and have tried a button lift with the help of an adult.
Focus: Become even more confident on your skis. Be absolutely sure of the brake, large and small turns and button lift.
Goal for the week: Master braking and turning, and take the button lift alone.
Remember! Small alpinists do not have much muscle mass and tire quickly. Breaks combined with a lot of play are important to find the joy of skiing!
Level 3
Meeting Point: Familieheisen
Previous Experience: You are confident on your skis and can brake, turn and take a button lift alone.
Focus: Now that you are confident with brakes and turns, we focus on gaining more speed on the skis, becoming safer in varied terrain and moving towards skiing with parallel skis.
Goal for the week: Gain better control of the ski at more speed and uneven terrain. Ski with parallel skis.
Remember! Small alpinists do not have much muscle mass and tire quickly. When we challenge ourselves at a higher level, it takes a lot of energy both physically and mentally.
